Description

Palm Beach Atlantic University’s Center for Integrative Science Learning camps use a multi-disciplinary approach in science with fun, unconventional approaches led by PBA science professors. June 8-12. The theme for this year is Forensics. In Science Camp, incoming 1st – 5th graders will explore how to solve different mysteries. Forensic techniques will be approached using hands-on science skills of chemistry, microscopy, biology, and physics. Incoming 6th – 12th graders in the Summer Science Institute will explore various techniques of forensic science. They will analyze evidence from the field using methods of forensic entomology and anatomy. In the laboratory, they will develop skills in chemical analysis, molecular biology, microscopy, and applied physics. Special guest professionals will join our lecture to share their expertise and real-world experiences. The program will culminate in a simulated crime scene investigation. Located in West Palm Beach.
