The Popular Family Fun Day Presented by Schoolhouse Children’s Museum Returns to Boynton Beach

The countdown is on for one of Palm Beach County’s most joy-filled traditions: Schoolhouse Children’s Museum proudly announces the return of its annual Family Fun Day, a free, community-wide celebration of heroes, princesses, and the power of imagination on Saturday, January 24, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Boynton Beach Amphitheater in Centennial Park. Presented by Publix Super Markets Charities, the family-friendly event draws hundreds of families each year for a joyful day that showcases the spirit of learning, discovery and play that defines the Schoolhouse experience.

Families can expect a lively princess and superhero costume parade, bounce houses, music and dancing by Digital Vibez, creative arts and crafts, meet-and-greets with local community heroes, fairytale character interactions, and an atmosphere overflowing with nonstop fun. Lauren Olesky, CBS12 meteorologist and host of the new podcast Weathering Parenthood, will serve as the Family Fun Day emcee.

“Family Fun Day is one of the most joyful days of the year for our community,” said Miriam Naranjo, executive director of the Schoolhouse Children’s Museum. “We love seeing children explore their energy, creativity and imagination while connecting with the real-life heroes who inspire and keep our community strong. It’s a day to create wonderful memories families embrace all-year-long.”

This year’s event is made possible thanks to the generous support of community partners, including: Publix Super Markets Charities (Presenting Sponsor); Lesser, Landy, Smith and Siegal Attorneys at Law (Slime Lab); Guardians Credit Union (Heroes Row); Walmart and Palm Health Foundation (Super Sensory Play); Acentria Insurance (K9 and Fire Demonstrations); Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital (Fairytale Tea Party); Cultivate Behavioral Health and Education and iThink Credit Union (Community Hero Sponsors); Flagler Credit Union (Parade Sponsor); and El Atico (Friend of the Museum). Culture & Kids 2026 is supported in part by the Cultural Council for Palm Beach County and the Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners.
